Shock Absorber Check, Repair & Replacement

Keep your car safe, comfortable and roadworthy, with our expert shock absorber inspection, repair and replacement services. A periodic shock absorber check comes highly recommended, as part of an ongoing programme of preventative maintenance. We highly recommend organising a shock absorber inspection upon detecting any of the following signs or symptoms:

·   Your car leans to one corner

·   The ride becomes rough or noisy

·   You experience a rolling sensation

·   Your car feels ‘bouncy’ to drive

A car’s shock absorbers contribute significantly to vehicle safety, performance and comfort. If you detect anything unusual with the way your car behaves, a shock absorber repair or replacement may be required.

We go the extra mile to provide the highest quality auto repair and maintenance services at unbeatable prices. From minor shock absorber repairs to complete suspension component replacement, you won’t find a more capable or committed team of dedicated qualified technicians.

How often do you need to replace shocks?

As with all automotive components, shock absorbers will always have a limited lifespan. However, there’s no one-size-fits-all rule as to when shocks should be replaced.

Instead, it’s a case of referring to the manufacturer’s guidelines. Some recommend shock and struts replacements every 50,000 kilometres, others closer to 100,000 kilometres

Of course, it’s also important to have your shocks comprehensively inspected if you suspect damage or degradation. Should your car begin handling differently in any way, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
